Mac & Cheese Pizza

This is one of my boyfriend and I's favorite recipe and we've been making it since we started dating. This is also the 90th post on Vegetarian & Cooking! Thanks for all of the support :)

Ingredients:
-Pizza Crust
-Macaroni and Cheese
-Potato Chips, crushed
-Shredded Cheese

A note about the ingredients -- feel free to use any kind of pizza crust, we make our own using the envelope but you can use store bought. I like to use Kraft Homestyle Macaroni and Cheese for this recipe, but you can use whatever you have on hand, the same goes for the potato chips and shredded cheese use whatever kind you'd like!

Spread out the pizza crust on a pizza pan.

Prick with a fork and bake for 5 minutes.
Mix the macaroni and cheese.
Remove the crust from the oven and top with the mac and cheese.
Bake for 7 minutes.
Remove from the oven and top with crushed potato chips.
Our macaroni came with a breadcrumb topping, we also used that.
Baking the crust before adding the macaroni and cheese allows the crust to stay crispy. The macaroni and cheese doesn't dry out in the oven because it's only in there for a short amount of time, however, it doesn't stay as creamy as it typically would, adding the shredded cheese helps to counter act that. If you're looking for a fun week night dinner this is a great recipe to try.
