Garlic Cilantro Fries

When we made this recipe, we already had a main dish and an appetizer planned, but then decided we needed a side dish to go with it. This was perfect because we had all the ingredients on hand, and there was not a lot of prep work involved. The idea for this recipe comes from the talking kitchen.

Ingredients:
-5 potatoes (or about 1 per person)
-2 Tbsp olive oil
-parmesean cheese
-cliantro
-garlic powder
-salt
-pepper

Peel the potatoes, and cut into thick slices.
Drizzle with olive oil.
Bake at 425 for about 20-25 minutes.
Flip about halfway through.
Mix together the rest of the ingredients in a small bowl, to taste.
Sprinkle onto of the hot fries.
I thought these were a good twist on regular fries. My dad makes really good fries in the deep fryer, so it was different for my family to have our fries baked. My dad and my brother liked the fries, but aren't big on extra seasoning. This was an easy one though to season half the fries, and leave the other half plain. The rest of us thought the seasoning was a great addition to the fries.
