Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

My doughnut obsession continues, enjoy these baked cinnamon sugar doughnuts from Shutter Bean with some coffee. The great thing about this recipe is that it will make six doughnuts, so you'll only need to bake on set because the doughnut pan holds six.

Ingredients:

Doughnuts
-1 cup all-purpose flour
-3/4 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon baking powder
-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
-1/4 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
-1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
-1 extra-large egg, lightly beaten
-1/2 cup buttermilk
-2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
-1 teaspoons vanilla extract

Topping
-4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) unsalted butter, melted
-1/2 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Mix together the dry ingredients.
Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
Slowly incorporate wet ingredients into the dry.
Don't over mix!!!
Pour into a greased doughnut pan.
Bake at 350 for 15-17 minutes.
Let cool.

Brush with butter.
Dip into the prepared cinnamon sugar mixture.

Enjoy your doughnuts.

Doughnuts with coffee, so great!

I thought these were really good, there was a good flavor to them and they were easy to make. These might be my favorite doughnuts so far.
