This recipe is adapted from the Pioneer Woman's recipe Supreme Pizza Burgers.
-1 veggie burger
-1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese
-2 tablespoons of marinara
-1 shallot, sliced thinly
-Any other desired pizza toppings
Adjust the recipe for however many servings you need, I was just making one.
|Grill the burger most of the way through, then top with one layer of cheese.|
|Add the shallots and any other desired toppings.|
|Top with more cheese.|
|Serve with marinara sauce and a toasted bun.|
This burger was good, but not my favorite out of every burger we've made. J. really liked the pizza burger that he made, he also included more toppings on his, I think I'll just keep pizza and burgers separate for now.
