White Mountain Snack Mix


This recipe comes from Vegetarian Times September 2013 p.45.

This is the second snack mix I've made from that issue of Vegetarian Times check out the Breakfast Snack Mix.

Ingredients: 

1 cup dried apple rings, torn into bite-size pieces
1 cup pecan halves
¾ cup dried cranberries
¾ cup pumpkin seeds
½ cup white chocolate chunks

I also added yogurt covered raisins. 


Combine all ingredients.

I loved the breakfast snack mix and so did my family, but this was not a snack mix which we enjoyed. The dried apples were the least favorite ingredient, the texture wasn't very good. My mom suggested that this might be good with a crunchy ingredient such as dried banana chips.
