Cranberry Pecan Brie Crostinis with a Maple Sugar Glaze

The only thing I can really say about this was that it was so good. It sounds tasty, and tasted exactly the way it sounds like it would. This was just the perfect combinations of flavors, I will definitely be making it again.

This recipe comes from Chef in Training.

Ingredients:
-1 baguette
-Brie
-1/2 cup pecans chopped
-1/2 cup craisins
-1/4 cup brown sugar for sprinkling
-3 Tbsp. maple syrup
-3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Toast the bread in the oven until it is brown and crispy.
Microwave the brie until it is a little runny, then spread it on the bread.
Top with the cranberries and pecans.
In a saucepan, mix the maple syrup and brown sugar for about 2 minutes.
Drizzle the mixture on top.

We had a lot of brie left over, so you don't really need a whole wheel, just enough to spread on the bread. This was really easy to make, and I think anyone at a party will love it. The sweetness of the maple glaze went well with the brie and the cranberries.
