Sometimes the simplest ingredients just need to be put together in order to make something great. This list of four ingredients makes a flavorful grilled cheese that will have you wanting to make a second grilled cheese for yourself. This recipe will make two sandwiches -- share one with a friend or keep them all to yourself.

Ingredients:
-1 cup sliced Granny Smith apple
-3 teaspoons butter, softened, divided
-4 slices cinnamon bread
-4 slices Muenster cheese

Slice the apple thinly.

Heat half of the butter in a large skillet and layer the apple slices into the bottom.
Heat over medium heat, turning once, until softened.
Remove and keep aside.

Melt the rest of the butter in the skillet.
Add in one piece of cinnamon bread, top with the cheese.

Add the apples.

More cheese and the second slice of bread.
Cook until golden brown on each side and the cheese is melted.

Grilled cheese deliciousness.

This sandwich got rave reviews. The muenster cheese was mild paired with the tart green apple. The cinnamon bread added enough sweetness to cut through the tartness, but not too much sweetness to make this overpowering. This is something that I would make again, I think the flavors went really well together and it was very easy to make.
