Snickerdoodle Waffles

I got a mini waffle pan for Christmas and this is the second time I've used it. I have a few fall-esque waffle recipes planned in the next few weeks. Although my waffles are mini, this recipe was originally for a regular sized waffle iron.

Recipe from Lil Luna.

Ingredients:
-2 cups flour
-1 teaspoon salt
-4 teaspoons baking powder
-2 tablespoons sugar
-2 eggs
-1 1/2 cup milk warm
-1/3 cup butter melted
-1 teaspoon vanilla
-1 teaspoon almond extract

Topping Ingredients -Melted butter
-Cinnamon/sugar

In one bowl mix together the dry ingredients (flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar) in another smaller bowl mix together the wet ingredients (eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla, and almond extract). Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients.

Pour into a waffle iron and cook until set.

Dip the waffles in a little melted butter and dip into cinnamon/sugar. Top with syrup if you desire.

These were good, the waffle batter itself is pretty basic, it might have been better if the cinnamon had been mixed into the batter instead of just part of the topping.
